"" For My thoughts [are] not your thoughts, Nor [are] your ways My ways," says the LORD."
God gives us His thoughts so that we can think His thoughts and walk in His ways.
How can we know the thoughts of God ? By the Word of God and by the Spirit of God.
God gives us His Word so that we can know His thoughts and think His thoughts.
As we spend time with the Word of God the Word of God renews our minds and we begin to think like God.
The Word of God has the inherent ability to renew our minds and to save our souls
James 1:21
Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
The Word of God saves, renews and restores our souls. As we meditate on the Word, our minds get renewed and we begin to think the thoughts of God, understand His language and walk in His ways.
Knowing the will of God or the plans of God for our lives is all about knowing the thoughts of God for our lives.
