The Thoughts of God Part 2

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

 For I know THE PLANS I have for you," declares the LORD, "PLANS to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Comparing these two translations of the Holy Bible, we can readily see that the thoughts of God  are the plans of God . The 'thoughts of God' was replaced with the expression 'plans of God' in the New International Version. 

Therefore, the thoughts of God are the plans of God.

God reveals His plans for us by His thoughts. The thoughts of God convey the plans of God to us.

We can understand God's plans for our lives by studying His thoughts for us.

Also, we can walk in the ways of God if we know the thoughts of God. The thoughts of God reveal the ways of God to us.

Isaiah 55:8

" For My thoughts [are] not your thoughts, Nor [are] your ways My ways," says the LORD.

We can see from this verse mentioned above that God related His thoughts to His ways. In other words, if we know the thoughts of God, we can walk in His ways.

God reveals His thoughts to us by His Word and His Spirit so we can walk in His ways.

God made His ways known to Moses by revealing His thoughts or His mind to Moses.

Psalms 103:7 

He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel.

Likewise as you and I embrace the thoughts of God we will walk in His ways. 

Knowing the will  of God or the plans of God for our lives is all about knowing the thoughts of God for our lives.
