"For My thoughts [are] not your thoughts, Nor [are] your ways My ways," says the LORD"
God gives us His thoughts so that we can think His thoughts and walk in His ways.
How can we know the thoughts of God ? By the Word of God and by the Spirit of God.
The Holy Spirit knows the thoughts of God and He reveals the thoughts of God to us.
1 Corinthians 2:11
For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
1 Corinthians 2:11 (CEV)
You are the only one who knows what is in your own mind, and God's Spirit is the only one who knows what is in God's mind.
The Spirit of God Who knows the mind of God and the thoughts of God reveals the thoughts of God to us.
1 Corinthians 2:10
But God has revealed [them] to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
Knowing the will of God or the plans of God for our lives is all about knowing the thoughts of God for our lives.
