"And he said, Blessed [be] the LORD God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I [being] in the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master's brethren."
"...I being in the way the LORD led me..."
The leading of the Spirit of God, or new direction came to him as he was walking in the way.
Similarly, we will receive new directions as we get busy walking in the way that has been revealed to us.
But what exactly is the way?
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
The Way is also the Truth and the Life. And we know that the Truth is the Word of God (John 17 : 17).
Therefore, the way is the Word of God.
Walking in the light of God's Word that we know empowers us to receive new directions.
Many believers desire new directions from the LORD but they fail to walk in the light that has been revealed to them. This is why receiving new directions is a great challenge to them.
But if we faithfully walk in all the light that have been revealed to us, God will surely reveal more to us granting us new directions.
