"Now in the church that was at Antioch there were certain prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, "Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them."_"
As these ministers minister unto the LORD and fasted the Holy Spirit spoke to them giving them a new direction.
New directions come to us as we minister to the LORD. When we minister to Him, He also minister to us guiding us to the next step that we should take.
Ministering to the LORD sharpens our spiritual sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, creates a conducive atmosphere for the workings of the Holy Spirit and positions us to receive from the LORD.
If you desire a new direction from the LORD, spend much time with Him just ministering to Him.
What you know about God is not all that you need to know. There is more that God desires to reveal to you. So you should expect new directions from the LORD always.
