New Directions Part 3

While Peter thought about the vision that he had received, the Holy Spirit spoke to Him saying "Behold three men are seeking you..."

Peter received a new direction when he thought about the previous direction that he had received from the LORD through a vision.

This is the first key to enjoying new directions from the LORD. Which is meditating on the previous directions that you have received. 

Thinking about a previous directions that you have received from the LORD gives birth to new directions 

This explains why God instructed us to remember all the ways that He had previously led us.

Deuteronomy 8:2 (NIV)

Remember how the LORD your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands.

We need to remind ourselves of how God led us and what He has been leading us ro do. Then meditate on them. 

As we focus on our previous directions meditatively, new directions will show up for us.

If you desire to receive new directions from the LORD, start focusing on, keep thinking and meditating on the previous directions that you have received. As you do these things ypu will enjoy new directions.

What you know about God is not all that you need to know. There is more that God desires to reveal to you. So you should expect new directions from the LORD always.
