Learning From His Silence

July 19, 2026

Psalm 27:11
"Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain and even path because of my enemies [those who lie in wait for me]."

We need to learn the the ways of God to successfully follow His leading.

The ways of God are far higher than the ways of man.

Isaiah 55:9

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.

For example, when a man keeps quiet and is not talking to you, he is probably keeping malice  with you.

But God does not keep malice. His silence communicates His direction for us at that time.

Silence from God implies one of the following

1. Keep acting on the Word of God that you know about the situation.  You do not need specific guidance from the LORD when you already know what the Word of God is saying about the situation.  If you enquire of God what to do on a matter that the answer is clearly written in the Bible. God will probably say nothing to you. His silence in this case implies that you should act on the written Word of God that you already know.

Learning from His silence will help us know the mind of God in every situation.

Shalom

Prayer

"Dear LORD, please teach me Your ways, so I can walk in your path successfully in Jesus "
