"Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain and even path because of my enemies [those who lie in wait for me]."
We need to learn the ways of God to successfully follow His leading.
For instance, silence from God implies one of the following
1. Keep acting on the Word of God that you know about the situation. You do not need specific guidance from the LORD when you know what the Bibles says about the matter.
2. Silence from God sometimes implies that you are on the right track, so you should keep moving in the same direction that you have been going (especially if you have peace in your heart). Silence in this case means keep doing what you have been doing faithfully. If God has something else for you to do, He will tell you. But while you are waiting for a new direction, you should keep doing whatever you have been doing.
Learning from His silence will help us know the mind of God in every situation.
Shalom
