"For if I pray in an [unknown] tongue, my spirit [by the Holy Spirit within me] prays, but my mind is unproductive [it bears no fruit and helps nobody]._ (Amplified)"
God leads us through our spirit because the spirit of man is the candle of the LORD.
When I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prays. In essence, my spirit is active when I pray in other tongues.
This explains why it is easier to receive divine direction while praying in tongues, for then, your spirit which is the candle of the LORD is active.
The candle of the LORD shines brighter as we pray in other tongues.
All the guidance that I have ever received from the LORD came out of my spirit and most of them came while I was praying in other tongues.
You can tell why : my spirit, which is the candle of the LORD prays (is active) when I pray in other tongues.
The more you speak in tongues the brighter the light that shines from your spirit , making it easier for you to receive divine guidance.
Spending much time speaking in tongues is greatly encouraged The more you speak in tongues the better your life becomes because you are speaking by the Spirit of God, yielding to the Holy Spirit and partnering with Him
Learn to speak in tongues more than ever before on a daily basis.
Shalom
