"For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel."
Why does the Father reveal to the Son all things that He does ? Because the Father loves the Son.
Jesus in His earthly ministry was a great man of prayer and fasting but He never gave credits to His prayers or fasting as the reason He enjoyed much divine guidance. Rather He credited His success in walking in divine guidance to the Father's love.
The reason the Father leads us and reveals things to us is because He loves us so much.
Knowing the love of the Father for us and walking in the consciosness of His love for us guarantees us divine guidance always.
God loves us as much as He loves Jesus. Therefore, we should expect to be led by the Spirit of God as much as Jesus was in His earthly ministry.
John 17:23
I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
Walk in the consciousness of God's love for you always and your spiritual sensitivity to the Holy Spirit will be greatly enhanced.
