"He MAKES me to lie down in green pastures; He LEADS me beside the still waters."
In essence, the LORD makes me by leading me.
God makes us by leading us by His Spirit.
The leading of the Spirit of God is the making of the Spirit of God.
Anytime a believer cries out to God asking Him to make them become a better person, God begins to lead them by His Spirit because the leading of the Spirit of God is the making of the Spirit of God.
God makes us to become more like Himself by leading us by His Spirit.
Thus, as we follow the leading of the Spirit of Christ diligently, He makes us become more like Himself.
One of the primary reasons God leads us by His Spirit is to make us become more like Himself.
Becoming more like God or like Christ is one of the major reasons God leads us by His Spirit.
Hence any thought that encourages us to talk like Christ, act like Christ or become more like Christ, is the leading of the Spirit of God.
