<p dir="ltr">Our text for today shows us clearly what God has called us to do. God called us to FOLLOW HIM. Jesus said :<br>
"FOLLOW ME, and I will make you become fishers of men."</p><p dir="ltr">Our primary responsibility in fulfilling our calling is that of following Jesus. </p><p dir="ltr">We can not make ourselves great or successful. God makes us great and successful. Our duty is to keep following Him. God is the Maker. We are the followers. If we follow Him diligently, He will make us become all that He has created us to be.</p><p dir="ltr">God makes us as we follow Him. We follow Him by following divine instructions. Therefore, divine instructions are for our making. </p><p dir="ltr">God makes us as we follow the leading of the Spirit of God. The Psalmist also confirms this to us.</p><p dir="ltr">Psalms 23:1 - 2<br><i>The LORD [is] my shepherd; I shall not want. HE MAKES ME to lie down in green pastures; HE LEADS ME beside the still waters.</i></p><p dir="ltr">How does the LORD make me?<br><i>"....He makes me (How ?)... He leads me ...."</i></p><p dir="ltr">God makes us by leading us. When a believer asks God to make him a better person, God responds by leading Him. The leading of the Spirit of God is the making of God.</p><p dir="ltr">One of the primary reasons God leads us is to MAKE US.</p><p dir="ltr">What you will become tomorrow is at the mercy of your followership today. </p><p dir="ltr">If we are committed and faithful in fellowshipping with God and following Him, He will faithfully make us become more like Him and help us to represent Him better before men.</p><p>
