"As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them"
Ministering to the LORD honours and glorifies Him.
Psalms 50:23 (Amplified)
He who brings an offering of PRAISE and THANKSGIVING HONORS and GLORIFIES ME; and he who orders his way aright [who prepares the way that I may show him], to him I will demonstrate the salvation of God.
Praise and thanks giving honours and glorifies God. And the primary assignment of the Holy Spirit on earth is to glorify God (John 16 : 14).
Therefore, thanksgiving and praises activate the ministry of the Holy Spirit for our good.
If you want to see greater workings of the Holy Spirit in your life and through your life, spend more time ministering to the LORD daily.
