"Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain and even path because of my enemies [those who lie in wait for me]."
We need to learn the ways of God to successfully follow His leading.
For instance, silence from God implies one of the following
1. Keep acting on the Word of God that you know about the situation. You do not need specific guidance from the LORD when you know what the Bibles says about the matter.
2. Silence from God sometimes implies that you are on the right track, so you should keep moving in the same direction that you have been going.
3. Silence from God, may also mean that God expects you to use your discretion.
4. His silence also may suggest that you should obey the precious instructions given to you by God. Many times our receiving a new direction from the LORD is contingent on our obeying the previous instructions. If you have not obeyed the last instruction, God may not deal with you further on that matter. So, when the LORD seems silent, revisit your previous directions and obey them.
Learning from His silence will help us know the mind of God in every situation.
