"[ Now when much time had been spent, and sailing was now dangerous because the Fast was already over, Paul advised them saying, "Men, I PERCEIVED that this voyage will end with disaster and much loss, not only of the cargo and ship, but also our lives.""
Apostle Paul was in a voyage to Rome as a prisoner. And he perceived that the voyage would end up in disaster .
Paul did not say that he saw a vision or heard the voice of God. He simply said he perceived that there would be danger.
This perception was inward, in his spirit also known as inward perception.
The inward perception is one of the unique characteristic of the inward witness. The inward witness is one of the commonest way that God leads us.
Thus if you learn to listen to your heart and to follow the inward witness of the Spirit diligently you will avoid dangers, hurts and calamities.
Walking in divine direction guarantees us protection and absolute safety.
Following the leading of the Spirit of God is our exemption from every evil of life.
When ordinary men are cast down, those who are led by the Spirit of God will say "there is a lifting up for me." Halaluyah
